About

I’m a founder and investor. My focus right now is a set of stealth projects at the intersection of finance and AI. More on those when there’s more to say.

I also run Ring Mint, a fine jewelry concierge built on a simple premise: make and source to order. Custom work is built the way the piece demands, by CAD, by hand, or both, and by whichever master craftsman is right for the job, or by me. We do everything from engagement rings, wedding bands, earrings, and necklaces to ready made jewelry and fully custom rare pieces. I source against each client’s brief to curate the best possible result every time. The goal is to find the piece that belongs to the moment they are marking, in the best way possible and below jewelry-store prices. Our family business, founded in 1974 and refined in 2026.

I invest at seed and angel stage. My portfolio includes True Metrics, Deasy Labs (EXIT), Andromeda Surgical (Series A), Kobalt Labs (Series A), and Affinity, and I’m an angel investor in Frontier Markets. I’m also an advisor to various companies, including Synthetic Turing.

Before that, I was Head of Product at Hatcher+, where I oversaw the company’s AI initiatives. My work centered on developing and scaling predictive intelligence for early-stage investing through Hatcher Score, their proprietary AI platform, as well as technology to help power fund managers and fund administrators. I led the application of 75+ machine learning models that power 12+ predictive scores and projections, helping forecast company success with measurable accuracy. I launched multiple AI-driven products, including an investment search engine that evaluates 23 dimensions of company performance and content-assessment tools that automate early-stage deal analysis. I also spearheaded strategic partnerships, including collaborations with Fortune 10 companies, to expand the commercial reach and practical applications of that AI across the venture ecosystem.

Earlier, I was CEO and Co-founder of Medinas Health (YCS18), a reverse logistics and data platform that helped healthcare institutions effectively resell and redeploy major capital equipment – saving hospitals millions in sales equivalency and diverting approximately 50,000 pounds of waste from landfills.

I also co-founded mask-match.com, a nonprofit peer-to-peer logistics initiative that matched 821,000 masks from 6,200 donors to 7,300 frontline healthcare providers during the critical first three months of the COVID-19 pandemic.
